Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in London is seeking a 12-month fixed-term Clinical Genomics post. The postholder will carry out analytical molecular diagnostics tests, validate new NGS and ddPCR techniques, and help train staff to meet accreditation standards.

The role supports a reference service for solid and haematological cancers, with occasional unsupervised work. A BSc in biological sciences or genetics is essential.

Qualifications

• BSc in biological sciences or genetics
• Education in mathematics
• Experience in diagnostic laboratory settings
• Training and knowledge in a specific area or instruments
• Evidence of CPD / personal development
