Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Generator Support Engineer to provide on-site and depot-based technical support for generator equipment. You will diagnose faults, perform commissioning and upgrades, and service Stage V generators across customer sites and depots.

The role requires mechanical/electrical qualifications, a customer-focused approach, and a full UK driving licence. Training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Apprenticeship completed; electrical bias preferred.
Experience servicing generator sets, FG Wilson or Cummins favored.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to depots and customers.
Diagnose and repair generator and electrical faults.
Commission, repair, upgrade and modify rental equipment.
Attend customer sites for commissioning and surveys.
Support training and mentoring for engineers and customers.
Assist with major projects and product introductions.
Develop and improve the rental fleet.
