Job summary

Powerhire UK is seeking a Generator Service Engineer in Dover, Kent. You will install and maintain our generator fleet both in the workshop and at customer sites, perform testing and certification, fault finding and repairs, and participate in the on-call rota to attend breakdowns.

The role requires a can-do attitude, a full driver's license, IT competency, and strong time management and customer service skills. Training and a company vehicle are provided for Kent/South East based staff.

Qualifications

• Desirable qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (18th edition).
• Full drivers licence is required.
• Be competent with IT.
• Have good time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and “can do” attitude.
• Experience with LV switchboards would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of our fleet of generators both within the workshop and on our customer sites.
• Testing and certification of electrical distribution equipment; Generator fleet fault finding and repairs; Maintain and repair cable.
• Part of the company on call rota; Attend breakdowns.
