Job summary

CES Power is seeking a skilled generator engineer to maintain, service and repair generators, cables, BSU and distribution boards at our South Coast depot. You will travel to customer sites, diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to minimise downtime, while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have NVQ L3 or City & Guilds in electrical/mechanical engineering, own tools, a valid driving licence, and are prepared for a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week with overtime and

Qualifications

NVQ L3 or City & Guilds equivalent electrical and/or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in power engineering.

Responsibilities

Maintain, service and repair generators, tanks, cables, BSU and distribution boards at the depot to ensure performance and reliability.
Diagnose faults and troubleshoot to minimise downtime and escalate when required.
Safely travel to customer sites and perform planned and reactive work with excellent customer service.
Prioritise workload and ensure you have the right tools to maximise first-time fixes.
Rapid deployment of road tow generators to customer sites and install when required.
