Job summary

Pharos Generator Services in Exeter, South West, UK, is seeking a Generator Engineer to join our team. The role covers maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair and testing of diesel generator sets, switchgear and control systems at client sites or Pharos locations.

Reporting to the South West Service Manager, the Technician will provide planned maintenance, diagnostic work, and call-out coverage on a rota basis, visiting client sites and forecasting spares for upcoming works.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Generator Engineering of at least 5 years.
  • Mechanical diagnostic experience.
  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar.
  • Skilled in technical report writing with acute attention to detail.

Pharos Generator Services an RSK Group company are recruiting for a Generator Engineer to join the team based in Exeter, South West, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Reporting into the South West Service Manager the Generator Technician will provide maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets, switchgear, control systems and associated equipment. Our support is carried out at client’s premises or Pharos sites. Key tasks include:

Pharos Generator Services (PGS) is a UK-based company with more than 60 years’ experience in the power generation industry. We specialise in supplying, installing, commissioning, repairing and servicing diesel backup and emergency-power systems.
