Job summary
Power Electrics is seeking an enthusiastic entrant to support the Yard Foreman and Rental team in Bristol. You will assist with depot operations, testing and repairing diesel generator sets, and occasionally travel to customer sites with a full driving licence preferred.
Training will be provided for forklift operations and vehicle movements. The role emphasizes health and safety, ISO compliance, and continuous improvement within a supportive employee-owned team.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driving licence.
- Fork lift truck licence is required.
- CSCS card held by candidate.
- Experience working in a workshop environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in service, maintenance and upkeep of the depot Rental fleet.
- Provide general yard help including loading and offloading equipment.
- Drive forklift in the yard after training.
- Record hours and fuel levels for generators returned by customers or company transport.
- Assist in servicing and repairs to equipment off site if required.
- Drive company vehicles to collect/deliver parts after training; follow Health & Safety policy.
