0026 Checkout Technology Ltd is seeking an AI Engineer passionate about building products that align with our strategic goals. You will work within our AI Centre of Excellence to rapidly develop generative AI solutions that improve internal workflows.

Your role includes partnering with product managers and designing user-focused products, along with deploying LLM applications on cloud platforms. A strong background in AI and software engineering will ensure your success in this dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs (e.g. GPT, Gemini, Claude).
• Strong backend engineering expertise, including RESTful APIs and micro‑services design.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript and familiarity with AI frameworks.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure‑as‑code.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers and engineers to deliver high-impact Generative AI use cases.
• Design and build user‑facing products leveraging AI capabilities.
• Build, deploy, measure, and iterate on LLM‑based applications.
• Develop end‑to‑end AI solutions on cloud platforms.
• Design systems that optimise performance and scalability.
