Job summary

VBeyond Europe is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to own end-to-end solution architecture across multiple workstreams in a complex banking transformation. You will define event-driven patterns, govern integration, and lead architecture boards with both onshore and offshore teams.

The role requires 10–15 years total experience, including 5+ years as a Solution Architect, and strong Payments/KYC domain knowledge along with regulatory compliance exposure.

• Proven track record in large banking/financial services transformations.
• Strong exposure to Payments, KYC, Billing, Treasury, Operations.

• Manage cross-domain dependencies and ensure integration consistency
• Provide architecture governance, design approvals, and CAB stakeholder engagement
• Partner with Integration Architect, Data Architect, and offshore Solution Architects
• Ensure solutions meet NFRs - scalability, resilience, security, regulatory compliance
• Lead design workshops, vendor reviews, and architecture boards
• Maintain architecture roadmap and technical debt management

Experience Required

• 10-15 years total experience, with 5+ years as Solution Architect
• Proven experience in large banking / financial services transformation programs
• Strong exposure to multiple domains: Payments, KYC, Billing, Treasury, Operations
• Experience working in onshore leadership roles with offshore delivery teams

Technical & Domain Skills

• Strong experience in event-driven architecture (Kafka, event bus, streaming platforms)
• Expertise in microservices, APIs, cloud-native architecture (Azure/AWS)
• Understanding of payment ecosystems (SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, ISO 20022)
• Familiarity with CRM (Dynamics), billing, transaction monitoring, and reporting systems
Knowledge of TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks
