Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited in Rotherham is seeking a General Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence to join a busy site. You will safely operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload deliveries, move stock, and pick/pack orders on a Monday–Friday shift.

This role offers a stable weekday routine, immediate starts, and potential for long-term opportunities within a friendly team and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance Licence (essential).
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Able to undertake manual handling duties.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse and yard areas
• Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
• Conducting stock checks and inventory control
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
