Aramark in Thirsk is hiring a General Service Assistant to join our catering team. You will serve food and beverages, operate tills, manage stock, and keep service areas clean and well presented.

Full training is provided; you will work alongside the General Manager and team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Eligible to work in the UK, 18+ and reliable with a flexible approach.

Competenze

• Customer service or food service experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Friendly and professional approach with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Mansioni

• Serving food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operating tills and handling customer payments accurately.
• Stocking up, rotating stock, facing up items, and carrying out spot cleaning duties.
• Setting up food service counters and ensuring all service areas are well presented.
• Cleaning front and back-of-house areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Supporting kitchen and service teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Preparing public-facing areas ready for service.
• Undertaking relevant training and working towards Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 qualifications.
• Working closely with the General Manager and wider team to support day-to-day operations.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to join our team in Thirsk, YO7 3ER. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to become part of a busy catering operation, supporting food service delivery while helping to maintain high standards across customer and catering areas.

What you'll be doing
