A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated General Science Teacher to join a thriving Science Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team, committed to delivering outstanding science education across Key Stages 3 and 4. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a General Science Teacher:

1. Teach general science (biology, chemistry, and physics) to students at KS3 and KS4.
2. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that promote progress and curiosity.
3. Assess student work and use data to inform teaching and support achievement.
4. Contribute to a positive learning environment that promotes high expectations and achievement.
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
6. Support science-related enrichment activities, trips, or clubs where appropriate.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

1. Holds QTS and has a strong grasp of the secondary science curriculum.
2. Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge across all three sciences at KS3 and at least two at KS4.
3. Has a commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.
4. Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to contribute to the wider school community as a General Science Teacher.
5. Values inclusion and works effectively with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
