Job description

This school is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled General Science Teacher to join their committed and supportive team for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality Science education and make a meaningful impact on students' learning and progress.

Duties as General Science Teacher:
  1. Teach General Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching may be available depending on experience).
  2. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet curriculum objectives.
  3. Mark and assess student work regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  4. Monitor pupil progress and contribute to effective interventions and differentiated support.
  5. Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and safeguarding in the classroom.
  6. Work collaboratively within the Science department to contribute to curriculum development and team planning.
