Job summary

Milton School in Mexborough is seeking a General Catering Assistant to join our school kitchen team.

You will help with basic food preparation, keep areas clean and hygienic, and support a high-quality catering service for pupils and staff.

This role is part-time (16 hours per week, term-time only) and requires teamwork, reliability and a careful approach to safety and food hygiene. Enhanced DBS check may be required.

General Catering Assistant

Milton School is looking for a General Catering Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated school kitchen team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality catering service for our pupils and staff. You will assist with basic food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and help ensure the dining environment is safe, welcoming and well organised.
