Job summary

Military Medical Personnel (MMP) is seeking a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) with MOD experience to cover a contract at Aldershot Medical Centre, Aldershot, Hampshire. This is a part-time locum role (15 hours per week) delivering PHC clinics for MoD service personnel, with responsibilities including OH fitness for work assessments and reports per MOD policy.

Pay rates are £60.10 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay) or £69.12 per hour as a Sole Trader; the post requires GMC registration,

Qualifications

• Registration with the General Medical Council on the main register and GMC GP Register without Restrictions.
• Current, satisfactory in-date annual appraisal aligned with GMP.
• In-date certification for Safeguarding Children/Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to Level 3.
• Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) experience.
• Must be on the UK NHS Performers List and provide an NHS Performer number.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
• Examinations and Occupational Health fitness for work assessments within scope and qualifications.
• Inform the local medical authority of any case affecting a serviceperson's duties.

We are looking for a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) with MoD Experience to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at Aldershot Medical Centre, in Aldershot, Hampshire.

This is a locum role (15 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.

Pay rates:

• PAYE - £60.10 (£53.63 + £6.47 holiday pay) per hour
• Sole Trader - £69.12 per hour
