Job summary

DrPA Secure Ltd is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in a secure prison environment. You will provide comprehensive primary care, manage chronic and mental health conditions, and support detox pathways while ensuring safeguarding standards and high-quality care.

You will work collaboratively with nursing staff and external providers to maintain continuous care and participate in clinical governance and audits. UK registration is essential.

Qualifications

As a GP in a prison setting, youll play a vital role in improving health outcomes for individuals who may have complex health and social care needs. Your work will help reduce health inequalities and ensure continuity of care in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full GP services including consultations, clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals.
• Manage chronic diseases, acute presentations, and mental health conditions.
• Contribute to the management of substance misuse and support detox pathways.
