Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to provide flexible, well-organised sessions at a GP practice in Oxford. The role offers a supportive primary care environment with clear daily workflows and strong administrative support.

You will manage a varied caseload, conduct high-quality patient assessments, and deliver continuity where required. Ad-hoc or regular bookings with potential long-term arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
