Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to join a GP practice in Perth. This locum role offers ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions with a clear structure for daily clinical work.

You will manage a varied caseload, perform high-quality patient assessments, and provide continuity of care within a team‑oriented primary care environment. The practice provides strong admin support and established workflows.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
