Job summary

Operose Health in the United Kingdom is seeking a General Practitioner (Permanent salaried) to join our primary care network in Essex. The role offers both part-time and full-time hours with a competitive salary up to £112,500 FTE depending on experience and an attractive benefits package.

You will maintain high clinical standards, support junior staff, stay current with national guidelines, and help improve access and outcomes for patients.

Qualifications

• Current GMC registration and NHS performers list, with active clinical work.
• GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent).
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and safety.
• Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES and appropriate coding.
• Experience with clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest clinical standards and practice in line with national guidelines.
• Promote efficient working methods and behaviours among clinical staff.
• Stay up-to-date with advances in medicine and local guidance; support others to do the same.
• Provide clinical advice and guidance to practitioners caring for patients.
• Ensure supervision and mentoring for salaried GPs and effective communication with staff and stakeholders.
• Ensure patient notes and medicines management meet legal and quality standards.
