Job summary

Operose Health Ltd is seeking a General Practitioner on a permanent salaried basis to provide high-quality primary care at Church Lane Surgery. The role involves part-time or full-time hours with a salary up to £112,500 depending on experience.

You will maintain clinical standards, supervise salaried GPs, and contribute to service development while adhering to NHS guidelines and local directives. A strong patient-first ethos is essential.

Qualifications

• Current GMC registration and NHS performers list.
• GP accreditation (MRCGP) or equivalent.
• Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient-focused services.
• Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding.
• Working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest clinical standards in line with accepted practice.
• Promote health and wellbeing among staff by encouraging efficient methods.
• Keep up to date with medical advances and align with guidance.
• Ensure supervision and mentoring for salaried GPs.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, regulators and commissioners.
• Support strategy development and policy within the practice.
