About The Role

Are you a GP looking for a different way of working? If you'd like to spend longer with patients presenting with acute injuries and illnesses without managing chronic conditions, have you considered a role in an Urgent Treatment Centre?

As a Practice Plus Group GP, you will have access to excellent facilities and the opportunity to focus on acute injuries and illnesses. The Practice Plus Group Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) operates from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday, providing clinical consultations for patients needing immediate medical attention until they can see their own GP.

What you'll be doing

1. Working within a professional team committed to delivering high standards of patient care in a fast-paced, challenging urgent care environment.
2. Enjoying longer patient consultations due to no timed appointments, minimal paperwork, and no QOF requirements, allowing you to finish your shift on time.
3. Collaborating with a wider clinical team of experienced Nurse and Paramedic Practitioners, assisted by Assistant Practitioners and Healthcare Assistants.

What we'll look for in you

1. Being a UK-registered medical professional with a GMC registration and on the GP Performers List.
2. Support for your ongoing CPD and career development.
