We are seeking an enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our established team and be part of a practice that truly cares and makes a difference within the community. We are open to discussing a sessional commitment of between 4 and 6 sessions per week.
You will work within our purpose-built surgery in Crowborough, serving approximately 9,500 patients. The practice is located in a beautiful rural setting in the High Weald area of East Sussex, with easy links to the south and nearby Tunbridge Wells.
At Saxonbury House, we foster a culture of learning for all clinicians. We welcome newly qualified GPs or GPs returning to work. As a training practice, we would appreciate either an accredited GP trainer or support a clinician seeking GP training status.
GP sessions typically involve 12 appointments per session, with a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations. Home visits may be required after the morning session.
We use Emis-web, Docman, and have recently transitioned to a triage-based approach utilizing eConsults for appointment bookings. We are also trialling Heidi Health AI to support documentation within patient notes.
Saxonbury House is an established GP surgery providing primary care services to the Crowborough area. We are a high-QOF achieving practice with over 9,600 patients. Our team includes 4 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 1 GP registrar, 1 ANP, 3 Nurses, 3 HCAs, 2 First Contact Physios, a Social Prescriber, 4 Care co-ordinators, and in-house Pharmacist support. Our organizational culture emphasizes learning and continuous improvement.
We offer both telephone and face-to-face consultations based on patient preferences and clinical indications.
As a salaried GP working under the BMA model contract for SGPs, you will be encouraged to participate in learning, training, and multidisciplinary audits. You will typically work with a mix of pre-booked and duty days with full professional support from our team at all times.
