Job summary

Operose Health seeks a General Practitioner to join Kings Road Medical Centre. The role requires six sessions per week, with Mondays and Fridays mandatory plus one of Wednesday or Thursday.

You will deliver high quality clinical care, work with clinical leads, and support the surgery's operational plan and quality aims.

Essential: GMC registration, GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent), and knowledge of QOF; proficiency with SystmOne or EMISweb; commitment to patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Current GMC registration and NHS performers list with regular clinical work.
• GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent).
• Commitment to delivering quality, patient-focused services.
• Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and coding.
• Working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery, working with clinical leads to support the surgery's operational plan.
• Maintain quality within the practice, participate in clinical governance, and contribute to improvement in health outcomes through audit and QOF/CQC standards.
• Provide clinical care as described in the job plan including consultations (in person and video), triage, medications reviews, and other clinical administration.
• Adhere to GMC standards and prioritise patient care.
• Support development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan including list growth and patient satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• To deliver high quality clinical care to the patients registered and attending the GP surgery and to work closely with the clinical leads and local practice team to support the delivery of the surgeries operational plan.
• You will strive to maintain qualify within the practice ensuring participation in clinical governance activity and contribute to the improvement in qualify health outcomes through audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework and contributing to the practice achieving other qualify standards to include CQC standards.
• To provide clinical care to patients as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model. This will include consultation sessions (both in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews and prescription signing and other clinical administration,safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on-call (excluding out of hours).
• To adhere to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and to put individual patient care as your priority.
• Working with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan – including list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.

• An experienced doctor with GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent experience.
