Job summary

Operose Health in Balderton is seeking a General Practitioner to deliver high quality clinical care at Balderton Primary Care Centre. The role is based on 4-8 sessions per week with daytime hours, and you will work with the local practice team to support delivery of the surgeries operational plan.

You should be registered with the GMC, on NHS performers list, and hold GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent). Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, and clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb is preferred.

• Current GMC registration and NHS performers list.
• GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent).
• Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and coding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered at the GP surgery and support the operational plan.
• Contribute to clinical governance and QA/QOF to improve health outcomes.
• Handle consultations in person or via video, telephone triage, medication reviews, and prescription signing.

Main Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include: To deliver high quality clinical care to the patients registered and attending the GP surgery and to work closely with the clinical leads and local practice team to support the delivery of the surgeries operational plan. You will strive to maintain qualify within the practice ensuring participation in clinical governance activity and contribute to the improvement in qualify health outcomes through audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework and contributing to the practice achieving other qualify standards to include CQC standards. To provide clinical care to patients as described in the job plan and in line with the total triage model. This will include consultation sessions (both in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews and prescription signing and other clinical administration,safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on-call (excluding out of hours). To adhere to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and to put individual patient care as your priority. Working with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to support the development, delivery and review of the surgery action plan including list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.

Ideal Candidate:

What we look for in new colleagues: Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list and engaged in regular clinical work. An experienced doctor with GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent experience. Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient focused services. Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and use of appropriate coding. Ideally have a working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.

How well support you: Annual salary of up to £103,500 depending on experience and £11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs. Full indemnity cover.
