Alignerr is seeking a General Postdoctoral Researcher to join our remote team on an hourly contract. The role offers flexible 10–40 hours per week with compensation of $75–$90 per hour.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD in a STEM field, has a strong publication record, and fluent English. You will tackle advanced AI research problems, collaborate with researchers, and ensure rigorous deliverables.

• Ensure academic rigor, clarity, and depth across all deliverables.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a top U.S. university (or equivalent).
• Strong track record of research, publications, or complex project management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, U.K., or Australia.

Preferred

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems
• Experience coding in Python, R, or other research-oriented languages.
