Job summary

University of Bath Hospitality Department seeks a General Porter to handle stock delivery/receiving, set up tables and furniture, and maintain high hygiene standards. You will operate dishwashers and contribute to daily kitchen operations, with early mornings, evenings and weekend shifts on a 36.5 hour week across 40 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen porter or general porter role.
• Committed to high hygiene, safety and food quality.
• Able to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Experience using email and stock software is advantageous.

• Receive and deliver stock and set up tables and furniture.
• Maintain hygiene standards and daily cleaning of equipment.
• Operate dishwashers and support kitchen operations.
