Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an Engineering/ Warehouse Support Operative to join a busy automated warehouse in Warrington. You will work with the Maintenance team performing basic checks on conveyors, machinery and automated systems, clearing jams and reporting faults for repair.

Shifts are 12 hours, days and nights, on a 6-month contract. Previous experience as a warehouse operative or line operator is desirable; the role offers hands-on maintenance support in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Worker, Conveyor Operative, Sorter, Production Operative, Line Operator, Machine Operator, MHE Operative, Maintenance Assistant or General Operative would be suitable.

• Operational and functionality checks
• Conveyor jam busting and blockage clearing
• Basic maintenance, cleaning, adjustment and lubrication
• Identify faults and help establish the cause
• Assist with planned, reactive and corrective maintenance
• Report faults to the Maintenance team

We are Looking for an Engineering / Warehouse Support Operative to work in a busy automated warehouse environment.You will work alongside the Maintenance team, carrying out basic checks on conveyors, machinery and automated systems, clearing jams/blockages and identifying faults before reporting more complex issues for repair.
