Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client in Middleton, Manchester. The role involves picking and packing in ambient conditions, operating PPT, and using a voice headset picking system.

Shifts run 14:00-22:00, 5 days out of 7 with weekends included and weekly pay. The role offers ongoing work, excellent hourly rates, on-site canteen, free parking and opportunities for long-term progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment, ideally ambient conditions.
• Ability to travel to site for early starts (06:00 when required).
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.
• PPT experience and Licence would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing in an ambient environment.
• Operating PPT in the warehouse.
• Using a voice headset picking system.
• Meeting daily picking targets and KPIs.
• Counting and recording stock levels accurately.
• Replenishing and restocking stock.
• Tracking goods in and out.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Middleton, Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, weekly pay, and genuine long-term opportunities with a well-established business.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Freezer Operative, Order Picker, Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Warehouse Picker, Chilled Warehouse Operative, and Goods In Operative.

Shifts

• Working 5 days out of 7 (weekends included)
• 14:00-22:00

Rates of Pay

• £13.23 - £19.84 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Picking and packing products within an ambient environment
• Operating PPT in warehouse
• Using a voice headset picking system
• Meeting daily picking targets and KPIs
• Counting and recording stock levels accurately
• Replenishing and restocking stock
• Tracking goods in and goods out
• Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• The ability to work within an ambient warehouse environment
• The ability to travel to site for a 06:00 start (own transport preferred)
• Previous experience working as an Order Picker, Warehouse Operative, or within a similar role
• A good level of spoken and written English
• Strong attention to detail
• Good reliability and punctuality

Desirable Experience

• PPT experience and Licence would be beneficial.
