Job summary

• Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment, and be physically able to cope with typical factory duties including manual handling loads.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Safety boots required.

Responsibilities

• Load, Unload components according to strict guidelines, designs, technical drawings and instructions.
• Help to gather & organize the correct parts requested/required by different sections.
• Meet the expected standards of accuracy, efficiency, quality and output as set by the Company.
• Complete daily inspection/check sheets.
• Determine appropriate tools or method based on requirements and use them according to strict safety standards.
• Perform daily operational checks on machinery and tools; identify and report any defects.
• Maintain tools, equipment and hanging hooks in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Regularly check quality of parts to ensure they meet the required standards set.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Operation of all associated machinery and tools to move raw material and large components.

Our client a British manufacturer of agricultural machinery is seeking a full time general operative - Paintline to join their established team.

General Operative - You will be responsible for ensuring items are loaded and unloaded correctly and to an efficient and high.

What we offer:

• £13.45 per hour
• Monday – Thursday – 06:30 – 16.45.
