Job summary

Cornwall Staff Agency Ltd. seeks a full-time multi-skilled operative to support our client’s manufacturing production areas, including assembly, plasma, and machining.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, operating CNC plasma and machine tools, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The position offers a permanent, full-time career with a Monday-Thursday shift from 06:30 to 16:45 and a pay rate of £14.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Committed to safety, quality and productivity.
• The ability to hit deadlines and achieve daily production schedules.
• Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment, and be physically able to cope with typical factory duties including manual handling loads.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Safety boots required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Plasma machines to produce components.
• Operate hand tools and machine tools to produce components.
• Follow operational guidelines and technical drawings to assemble parts and components.
• Complete other operational work including fettling and grinding.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Hit daily production schedules and maintain efficiency.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment and assist with other duties as required.

Our client a British manufacturer of agricultural machinery is seeking a full time multi skilled operative to join their established team.

Multi-Skilled Operatives to support our Production areas, including Assembly, Plasma & Machining.

What we offer:

• £14.15 per hour
• Monday - Thursday - 06:30 - 16.45.
• Full-time permanent position.
