Job summary

Teagle Machinery Ltd in Blackwater is looking for a General Operative to join our paintline team. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, supporting the paintline workflow and ensuring items are moved safely and efficiently.

You will interpret simple drawings, follow strict safety standards, maintain a clean work area, perform daily equipment checks and help maintain quality and output to meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Load, Unload components according to strict guidelines, designs, technical drawings and instructions.
• Help to gather & organise the correct parts requested/required by different sections.
• Meet the expected standards of accuracy, efficiency, quality and output as set by the Company
• Complete daily inspection/check sheets
• Determine appropriate tools or method based on requirements and use them according to strict safety standards
• Perform daily operational checks on machinery and tools; identify and report any defects
• Maintain tools, equipment and hanging hooks in a condition that does not compromise safety
• Regularly check quality of parts to ensure they meet the required standards set.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Operation of all associated machinery and tools to move raw material and large components
