Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group, a leading UK poultry producer, currently has opportunities for Production Operatives/Loader at Willand. The role features a 4-day working week and a starting pay of £13.26 per hour, rising to £13.94 after training.

You will handle, truss, cut and pack products in a busy chilled factory, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards while following quality guidelines. Training and progression are available.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Electric pallet truck license (preferred).
• Level 2 basic food safety.
• Level 2 H&S.

Responsibilities

• As a Production Operative you will handle, truss, cut and pack food products for top tier customers.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
• Produce each product to the required specification following quality standards.
• Follow all safe-working practices and halt unsafe methods.
• Undertake other duties as required for factory operation.

The hours of work and shift patterns are:

4 days working week

• Wk1 Monday-Thursday
• Wk3 Monday, Tuesday, Friday Saturday

Pay rates: £13.26 raising to £13.94 after successful training

Main Responsibilities

As a Production Operative with 2 Sisters, you will be handling, trussing, cutting and packing food products for top tier customers within a busy chilled factory environment.

• To correctly and effectively carry out the required functions, once trained to do so, in any area of the factory
• To maintain high standards of personal hygiene and presentation during working hours
• Produce each product to the required specification following all quality standards
• Follow all safe-working practices, halting any unsafe working practices.
• To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the factory and unit.
