Job summary

ctrg is seeking a General Operative in Lutterworth (LE17 4XN) to support recycling and waste handling operations. The role offers a 4-day fixed shift (Mon-Thu) with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour and paid breaks after 12 weeks of service.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. Opportunities for permanent contracts and holiday pay are available, with Wagestream pay options and access to a staff discount program through Company Shop.

Responsibilities

• Recycling waste materials including cardboard, plastic and food waste.
• Baling and banding cardboard.
• Manual handling of waste and recyclable materials.
• Loading empty cages of cardboard onto the baling machine for condensing.
• Organising, sorting and disposing of recyclable goods.
• Carrying out rework activities as required.
• Waste removal and disposal across the site.
• Emptying recyclables from customers' equipment.
• Maintaining a hazard-free working environment by keeping areas clean and tidy.
• Working safely near MHE and other machinery in line with health and safety procedures.

We have a new and exciting role for you to become a General Operative in Magna Park, Lutterworth, LE17 4XN.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Paid break after completing 12 weeks of service!

Shift

• 4-day fixed shift


• Monday - Thursday

Role

• Recycling waste materials including cardboard, plastic, and food waste


• Baling and banding cardboard


• Manual handling of waste and recyclable materials


• Loading empty cages of cardboard onto the baling machine ready for condensing


• Organising, sorting, and disposing of recyclable goods


• Carrying out rework activities as required


• Waste removal and disposal across the site


• Emptying recyclables from customers' equipment


• Maintaining a hazard‑free working environment by ensuring all work areas are kept clean and tidy


• Working safely in close proximity to MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and other machinery, following all health and safety procedures
