Job summary
VolkerLaser in Scotland is seeking a General Operative to join the team in Perth and other locations around Scotland. You will carry out a range of construction and civil engineering tasks under site management direction to deliver work safely, efficiently and to the required quality and specification.
Applicants should have prior construction site experience, a CSCS card and a full UK driving licence. Experience in concrete repair/strengthening or civils is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Experience working on construction sites.
- Experience with concrete repair/strengthening and civils is advantageous.
- CSCS card and health and safety awareness are required.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of construction and civil engineering tasks.
- Operate tools, plant and equipment safely and competently.
- Ensure all works comply with company procedures and risk assessments.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards on site and report hazards.
- Participate in site briefings, toolbox talks and training.
