Polypipe Building Products, part of Genuit Group, is seeking Assembly Operatives for our Edlington site (DN12). The role focuses on assembling products to SWPs, ensuring quality, and reporting defects promptly to supervisors.

Working hours are Mon-Thu 12:00–16:00 and Fri 10:00–14:00, with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, life assurance, enhanced parental pay, Sharesave, cycle to work, on-site parking, and health initiatives.

Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.

We are recruiting for Assembly Operatives to join the team based at Broomhouse Lane, Edlington, DN12.

Workings Hours & Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products accurately and efficiently in accordance with work instructions and Standard Work Procedures (SWPs).
• Ensure all manufactured products meet the required quality standards.
• Inspect finished products for defects and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Package products securely, ensuring the correct quantities and product labels are applied.
• Carry out manual handling tasks safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure the work area remains clean and organised.
• Separate waste materials into designated recycling containers.
• Complete daily production records and paperwork accurately.
• Work towards and achieve agreed production targets and deadlines.
• Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Follow all company Health and Safety policies, procedures and safe working practices.
