Job summary

Staffline is seeking a General Operative in Lincoln for an ongoing full-time role at a major snacks manufacturing site. The position operates on a rotating 4 on 4 off schedule with 6am–6pm and 6pm–6am shifts, and offers on-site parking and full training.

You will hand pack, palletise, wrap, manage waste bins, and input data into the system while maintaining cleanliness and assisting with product and flavour changes. Overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Basic maths, reading and computer skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Hand pack products in primary packaging from tables.
• Manually stack pallets with equipment provided.
• Wrap pallets using manual stretch wrapper.
• Move waste bins using waste bin management system.
• Input data into the system.
• General wall/floor cleaning and tidying of manufacturing areas.
• Basic equipment cleaning and supporting product/flavour changes.
• Collect product samples for testing and complete simple testing.

General Operative for our client one of the biggest snacks manufacturing sites in the UK, producing several well-known brands.

The rate of pay is

£13.10 per hour.

This is a

full-time

role working on rotating shifts, 2 days/2nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern

The hours of work are:

• 6am to 6pm
• 6pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a General Operative you will be responsible for:

• Hand pack products in primary packing from tables
• Manually stack pallets with equipment provided
• Wrap pallets using manual stretch wrapper
• Move waste bins using waste bin management system
• Input data into system
• General wall / floor cleaning and tidying of all manufacturing areas
• Basic equipment cleaning, supporting both product and flavour changes
• Collect product samples for testing and complete simple testing

The above lists are not exhaustive and you will be required to complete other duties from time to time.
