Job summary

Orion Electrotech in Dudley is seeking a General Operative to join our production team. The role focuses on operating and supporting a range of manufacturing machinery, with full training provided for the right candidate.

You will contribute to daily operations, quality checks, and safe material handling, while learning CNC processes and other engineering tasks in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, engineering, or factory environment.
• Experience operating machinery or industrial equipment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail.
• CNC experience is beneficial but not essential.

About the Role

A well-established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a motivated General Operative to join its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a factory or manufacturing environment who is looking to develop new skills and build a long-term career.

Experience operating heavy machinery or industrial equipment is highly desirable. CNC machinery experience would be an advantage; however, full training will be provided for the right individual.
