Job summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Operations Manager to provide senior operational leadership to General Medicine services. You will oversee GIM medical rotas, RTT/PTL validation, patient pathway performance and workforce planning, ensuring timely patient access and performance assurance.

Working with clinical leads, rota teams and corporate services, you will challenge performance, drive improvement, and support governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight of GIM medical rotas, identifying and managing workforce gaps, risks and staffing pressures.
• Lead the validation of PTLs and RTT pathways, ensuring patient information is accurate, current and appropriately evidenced.
• Analyse performance information and provide assurance on RTT, patient access, workforce and other key operational measures.
• Work collaboratively with clinical, administrative and corporate teams to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
• Provide leadership and support to delegated administrative and rota teams, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
