Job summary

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust seeks an experienced Operations Manager to provide operational leadership across Oncology, Haematology and Rheumatology, split between GEH and South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. The role requires travel between sites and visible leadership across clinical and nursing teams.

You will lead service redesign, monitor performance, quality and financial plans, and contribute to transformation initiatives while joining the On Call Manager rota at GEH.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital operations management.
• Ability to travel between GEH and SWFT sites.
• Experience with service improvement and transformation.
• Ability to monitor performance, quality and financial plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational management of Oncology, Haematology and Rheumatology across GEH and SWFT.
• Lead service redesign within the portfolio with multidisciplinary teams.
• Work with clinical and nursing leaders to understand pressures and actions.
• Act as escalation point for performance, quality or financial issues.
• Join the On Call Manager rota for the GEH site.
