What you will be doing:

We’re looking for a strategic and driven General Manager, UK to lead and scale our operations across the UK and EMEA region. This executive role is critical in shaping the success of our presence in the region, ensuring we meet ambitious revenue targets, and supporting cross-functional collaboration. You will work in close partnership with the Sales and Customer Success teams to drive growth, oversee regional operations, and support the professional development of our commercial teams through matrix management. You’ll play a key role in setting the foundation for long-term success in this important market.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own regional revenue targets and develop strategies to meet and exceed them.
  • Serve as the senior leader in the UK, representing the company in the region.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success and Product to ensure alignment and success across the customer lifecycle.
  • Manage and develop regional resources in a matrix structure with functional managers.
  • Identify growth opportunities and local partnerships to strengthen our presence in the region.
  • Help shape and implement the operational structure needed for the region’s success.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador and extend the company’s values across the region.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in a senior leadership role successfully managing regional revenue in the UK and Europe.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of regional market dynamics.
  • Based in the UK with the ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong background in SaaS or B2B tech companies, ideally with experience in legal tech or a similarly complex industry.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills with a strong focus on execution.
  • Experience working in a matrix management environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • English at a strong professional level; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • A strong understanding and familiarity with the IP industry is a significant advantage.
