Overview

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to employ a General Manager for our Ford dealership in Romford. This is a great opportunity to join an established brand and team in a prominent dual-site within the M25, with full responsibility for driving the performance of both new and used car sales and all aftersales activity.

This position is offered on a full-time permanent basis, with a basic salary of £80,000 and an OTE of £100,000 and reports to the Divisional Director.

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for an individual with strong automotive general manager/head of business experience ideally from a franchised dealership who is looking to take the next step in their automotive career. The following skills and experience are key:

  • Previous experience of leading within both sales and aftersales
  • A great understanding of the KPIs and inputs needed to achieve targets
  • Implementing a customer-first culture
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Fantastic stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
Key Responsibilities And Duties
  • Leading the Sales and Aftersales operations to maximise both efficiency and sustainable profitability
  • Managing the relationship with Ford by ensuring exceptional standards and being a true brand ambassador
  • Ensuring organisational, legislative and FCA compliance
  • Managing the customer experience to ensure the highest level of satisfaction in every area of the business
