What you'll be doing:

Organise and supervise the unit according to Compass Group UK & Ireland standards, contract specifications, and statutory regulations. Manage the unit effectively to provide quality service, oversee food preparation, cooking, and service to meet standards, and ensure efficient use of resources including stock, team members, and assets.

Who you are:

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategically organise and manage the business through your team
• Previous contract catering experience
• Communicate, motivate, and guide your management team and staff daily
• Set operational responsibilities and monitor performance
• Take responsibility for food safety and health and safety procedures
• Maintain regular communication with the client
• Complete action plans based on customer satisfaction surveys
• Promote the unit and act as a Compass Group ambassador
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Ensure high standards in client hospitality and seek feedback
• Identify opportunities to improve and develop services
• Bring innovation and creativity
• Operate within the budget, monitor trends, and take corrective actions if needed
• Ensure customer requirements are met to expectations
