What you'll be doing:

To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with and to the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory Regulations. Responsible for the overall efficient management of the unit, providing a quality service. Oversee the preparation, cooking, and service of food to standards. Ensure the efficient use of resources, including stock, team members, and assets.

Who you are:

• Provide guidance and a strategic approach to managing the business through your team.
• Previous Contract Catering Experience
• Communicate, motivate, and guide your management team and staff daily. Set clear responsibilities and monitor performance.
• Overall responsibility for food and health & safety procedures.
• Communicate regularly with the client.
• Complete action plans following customer satisfaction surveys.
• Promote the unit and act as a Compass Group Advocate.
• Experience managing stakeholders.
• Ensure client hospitality meets standards and seek feedback.
• Identify opportunities to enhance services.
• Bring innovation and flair.
• Operate within the budget, monitor trends, and take corrective actions if necessary.
• Deliver customer requirements as expected.
