Job summary

The Morpeth Arms, a historic riverside pub in Westminster, invites an entrepreneurial General Manager to lead operations and guest experiences.

You will run a traditional downstairs bar with a dining room upstairs, shape the food offer, recruit and develop your team, and drive local engagement while preserving a rich heritage. Live-in accommodation is available.

We’re looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead The Morpeth Arms — a historic riverside pub in Westminster, steeped in London’s fascinating past and full of traditional character. Ideally located near Pimlico and just moments from Tate Britain, The Morpeth Arms is the perfect spot to enjoy a well-kept pint, seasonal British food and the unique atmosphere of a classic London pub on the banks of the Thames.

You’ll have a fantastic pub to make your own, with a traditional, old-school bar downstairs and a dedicated dining room upstairs, creating the perfect setting for everything from relaxed drinks and casual catch-ups to memorable dining experiences and special occasions. With a welcoming local atmosphere, a food offering built around classic pub favourites and Sunday roasts, and a fascinating history dating back to 1845, The Morpeth Arms is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious operator to bring their own personality to a truly distinctive venue.

Welcoming a mix of local residents, Westminster workers and visitors exploring London, the ideal General Manager will know how to make The Morpeth Arms a true Westminster favourite.
