Greene King is seeking a General Manager for a Hungry Horse pub to lead daily operations, drive sales, and create a warm, welcoming experience for guests and staff. You will coach a team, uphold brand standards, and ensure safety while delivering memorable experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to developing people and the business in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High standards and attention to detail in day-to-day pub operations.
• Strong people skills with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Business-savvy with experience controlling P&L and budgets.
• Desirable prior General Manager experience in hospitality, retail, or fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Grow pub sales with the business development team.
• Lead by example and bring the brand to life through your team.
• Recruit and develop staff to deliver great customer experiences.
• Champion brand standards and ensure customer and team safety.
• If you can, acquire a personal license to run the pub.
