Job summary

Loungers plc is hiring a General Manager to lead Bruto Lounge, a local café bar. This is a permanent full-time role with a 48-hour contract (40-hour option available) and a competitive base salary plus bonus and overtime.

You'll recruit and develop a hands-on team, manage GP, labour, stock and customer experience, and work with Head Chef to ensure quality. Enjoy progression opportunities and extensive employee benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience as General Manager or equivalent in hospitality.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and develop teams.
• Hands-on leadership with floor presence and coaching.
• Strong financial acumen including GP, labour and stock.
• Ability to lead across multiple shifts and manage 14 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Bruto Lounge and manage staffing across 14 shifts.
• Build and develop a strong team with clear growth plans.
• Collaborate with Head Chef on quality, stock and training.
• Analyse GP, labour, stock and NPS to drive improvements.
• Lead weekly HOD meetings and align across shifts.
• Engage with the local community and manage social presence.
• Schedule rotas two weeks in advance and manage reporting.
