COREcruitment Ltd is helping Bristol-based casual dining concepts recruit a General Manager to lead a busy site. The role offers £52,000–£55,000 plus bonus and a chance to drive guest experience, people development and commercial performance.

You’ll be on the floor during peak services, set the pace, recruit and coach a sizeable team, and own the P&L with a focus on protecting margin and growing sales.

I'm working with a brilliant, high-energy restaurant concept in Bristol that is looking for an experienced General Manager to take the lead at one of its key sites.This is a busy, quality-led operation, so I'm looking for someone who loves being on the floor, knows how to build a great team and can balance brilliant hospitality with strong commercial performance.

THE ROLE

• You'll have full ownership of the restaurant, from the people and guest experience through to sales, labour and overall profitability.
• You'll be visible on the floor, setting the pace during busy services and making sure standards are consistently high.
• People will be a huge part of the role.You'll recruit, coach and develop your team, creating a positive culture with clear expectations, accountability and opportunities to progress.
• Commercially, you'll own the P&L and understand what drives your business - managing labour and costs, protecting margin and finding opportunities to grow sales.

THE PERSON

I'm looking for an established General Manager with experience in a busy, quality-led casual dining.

You'll be:

• A strong, hands-on operator who genuinely enjoys being on the floor
• Confident managing a high-volume restaurant and a sizeable team
• Commercially switched on with solid P&L experience
• Brilliant with people - able to recruit, develop and retain a strong team
• Guest obsessed, with a real understanding of what great hospitality looks like
