Hall & Woodhouse, the Dorset-based brewer behind The Barn in Woolacombe, is recruiting a General Manager to lead an exceptional destination pub. You will steer a high-performing team through peak season, uphold brand standards, oversee kitchen operations and deliver outstanding guest experiences in a premium hospitality setting.

This role offers up to £63K with profit share and bonus, comprehensive benefits, development and mentoring, and a genuine path for progression within a values-led,

Competenze

• Extensive General Manager experience in branded hospitality.
• Proven leadership across large teams and seasonal peaks.
• Experience overseeing kitchen operations and food production.
• Strong understanding of brand standards and guest service.
• Commercial focus with ability to grow off-peak trade.
• Will-ing to relocate or be based in the local area.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

What you'll need to be:

• A highly experienced General Manager with great leadership capability within branded hospitality
• One who understands and can manage the additional challenges of a seasonal destination business with very high peaks
• Competent in kitchen oversight and the control of food production
• Based in the local, area or planning to re-locate
• An expert in quality food and drink, with high attention to detail
• A strategic commercially minded operator with experience growing low season trade
• Diligent with brand standards and processes
• Well-presented, analytical and proactive in problem-solving
• Able to commit for the long term
• Determined to develop and maintain outstanding hospitality for our guests
• A natural host who loves making people's day
• Flexible and resilient with a solutions-first mindset
