Job summary

The Duke in Walthamstow is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy pub. You will lead all front-of-house and back-of-house activities to deliver excellent guest experiences.

You will recruit, train and supervise staff, organise rotas, manage stock and budgets, drive sales, and ensure compliance with licensing and health and safety laws.

This full-time role requires evening and weekend availability, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Previous pub management experience essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of stock control, budgeting and financial performance.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and late nights.
• Personal licence is a plus.
