Job summary

Popeyes UK&I is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of a high-volume site. You will lead a fast-paced team, drive sales, control costs, and ensure top-tier guest experience and brand standards.

You will recruit, develop talent, manage P&L, and implement robust stock and labour controls in a dynamic environment with strong performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Proven GM experience in branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual dining.
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, health & safety, and employment law.
• Own full restaurant performance including P&L, sales and costs.
• Develop and coach your team to grow careers and potential.
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service and guest experience standards.
• Own recruitment, development plans and succession for your site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering and waste to target.
• Build rotas balancing availability, labour budgets and peak trade.
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and act.

What you’ll do here

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation
• Full accountability for your restaurant’s performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all time
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
• The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
