Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Chicken UK&I is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of a high-volume Popeyes restaurant in the UK. You will lead a fast-paced team to deliver top-tier guest experience, strong safety and quality standards, and exceptional financial performance.

You will recruit, develop and mentor staff, manage P&L, and optimize labour and costs while maintaining brand standards and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven GM in a high-volume QSR/fast-casual brand.
• Experience delivering safety, cleanliness and quality standards.
• Track record of hitting sales targets and controlling costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HACCP, health & safety, and labour compliance.
• Own restaurant performance including P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audits.
• Develop and support teams to grow careers and reach potential.
• Deliver Popeyes’ food quality, speed, and guest experience standards.
• Oversee recruitment, development plans and succession for the site.
• Control stock, inventory, ordering and waste to target.
• Create rotas balancing availability, labour budgets and peak trade.
• Review data to identify opportunities and take action.
• Maintain energetic culture and strong team morale.

What You’ll Do Here

• Ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP), health & safety, and employment legislation
• Full accountability for your restaurant’s performance, inc P&L, sales, labour, food cost, audit and brand standards
• Support and develop your team to grow their careers and unleash their potential
• Deliver Popeyes' food quality, speed of service, and guest experience standards
• Own recruitment, development plans, and succession planning for your site
• Control stock, inventory, ordering, and waste to target
• Build rotas that balance availability, labour budgets, and peak trade
• Review performance data to identify opportunities and take action

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a branded, high-volume QSR or fast-casual restaurant
• Ability to deliver quality, safety and cleanliness standards at all time
• Track record of hitting sales targets, managing P&L, and controlling costs
• Experience with labour scheduling, stock management, and inventory systems
• Strong people leadership, you've built teams and developed future talent
• Experience in new-site openings or multi-site environments is beneficial
• The ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
